Assassin's Creed Shadows Patch: Key Updates and Temporary Feature Removal

The recent update for Assassin's Creed Shadows has brought some unwelcome changes along with several positive fixes since the game launched on PC and consoles a month ago. Over the past few weeks, multiple patches have been introduced, and the latest one marks a significant decision by the developers: a highly anticipated feature has been disabled due to reported unexpected complications.

The feature in question allowed players to sell multiple items at once to a vendor. Because it was generating unforeseen technical errors, Ubisoft has temporarily removed it from the game. The developers explained that they are actively working on resolving the issues so that players can enjoy this functionality again in a future update.

In addition to this change, the patch has addressed a number of other problems. These include:

  • Enhancements for overall system performance and game stability on PC
  • Corrections for graphical glitches affecting PS5 users
  • Solutions for unusual audio issues
  • The restoration of a previously removed option to request assistance from allies

Players can now download the update, although the file size will vary based on their platform: an 11 GB update is required for Xbox Series X/S, 9 GB for PC and Mac users via Ubisoft Connect, while PS5 users will receive an update of about 0.5 GB and Steam users will get a 0.4 GB update.
